There are several ways to reserve a private room on Tobu Railway's Limited Express SPACIA, including:
- Through the Tobu Railway station's ticket window.
- Through Tobu's travel agency "Tobu Top Tours".
- By calling Tobu Railway's Customer Center.
Below describes the process for calling Tobu Railway's Customer Center:
- Determine which train you wish to board.
You can check if that train has an available private room on Tobu Railway's website.

Tobu Railway's Customer Center is open every day except New Years, from 8:30AM to 7:00PM.
Phone Number: +81-3-5962-0102 - Ask for the reservation desk.
Once you are transferred to the reservation desk, tell them the travel date, train, and room you would like to reserve. - You will be given a reservation confirmation number at the end of the call.
- Within 7 days of making the reservation, go to the ticket window at a Tobu Railway train station or Tobu's travel agency, Tobu Top Tours, to make the purchase. Please note that if the ticket is not purchased within 7 days of the reservation being made, it will automatically be canceled.
Important Information of Making Reservations a Private Room on Tobu Railway's Limited Express SPACIA
- It is not possible to reserve a private room for Tobu Railway's Limited Express SPACIA online.
- On Tobu Railway's website, there are instructions for creating a membership account, additionally there are separate systems such as the 'Tobu mobile membership service' and the 'online reservation system'. In order to make reservations with these systems, it seems that you must register as a member. However, please note that the method I have described above for reserving private rooms does not require a membership.
- Making the payment and receiving the ticket can only be done at either a Tobu Railway station's ticket window or at Tobu's travel agency Tobu Top Tours, so please make sure that one of these facilities is nearby.

- Private rooms are available only on the Limited Express SPACIA trains between Tokyo and Nikko/Kinugawa.

Unlike the canned beer sold by food & drink carts on trains such as Shinkan-sen, Tobu Railway's Limited Express SPACIA offers a proper draft beer from the tap.
The beer offered is from Asahi Breweries, the head office of which is located in the very Asakusa Tobu Railway's Limited Express SPACIA operates out of.
According to the friend:
The Asahi beer on Tobu Railway's Limited Express SPACIA is the best Asahi beer in all of Japan
The freshly made beer is delivered directly from the factory to the train, making it more fresh and delicious than you could ever find at a normal bar.
